She's baaack from her last TV appearance! We just arrived back from the Good Day Sacramento Show to Modesto with our demure and stately art doll. She looked beautiful on TV and the segment went well! What fun it was to see all the behind the scene happenings and watch. Lets hope her appearance brings in more $$ for Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. Just in case you don't know....Ties That Bind is an art doll project to help raise money for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fun(OCRF). It's a collaborative project with the help of almost 100 amazing artists. Our goal is to raise $10,000 dollars by the end of September which is Ovarian Cancer Month. At the end of September a lucky individuals' name will be drawn and they will win the amazing art doll. I know many people who hope to win her just so they can donate the doll, since not every body has room for her.

There are several ways you can help:

• Vote for the project to be featured on the cover of this magazine. The exposure would be great and this takes less than a minute of your time. Voting ends, Fri 24 Jul 09.
  
• Buy tickets to win the doll- tickets are 1 of $5 or 6 for $20. The drawing will be 30 Sep 09.
  
• Make a donation

It was one year ago that we began this project. Everyone pitched in with their art. Now it's time to pitch in againby donating and spreading the news!Remember this is a tax deductible donation! Give big. Give often.If we can get 500 people to donate $20 over the next 4 months we will raise $10,000.How awesome would that be???????We can do this. We would like to announce that Scrapbook Royalty will be hosting the Ties That Bind Art Doll raffle this summer.Donating will be sweet, simple AND tax deductible! Scrapbook Royalty....It's not just for scrap booking anymore.

Scrapbook Royalty is dedicated to raising money and awareness for worthy causes. 100% of the money raised by participants, silent auctions, and raffles is donated directly to charities. Scrapbook Royalty will not collect any fees from Ties That Bind. All money raised by the Ties That Bind raffle will be sent to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund http://www.ocrf.org/ . I can't say enough about the beautiful job Mz Jan Brown did in creating our art doll from our contributions, but hopefully you can! I was literally gobsmacked by what an amazing job Jan did! If it wasn't for every one's beautiful contributions she definitely wouldn't exist!

She is on her way to the publishers to have her photo shoot and next time we post it will be announcing the raffle but meanwhile do some gawking at the photo album!
